Utility Billing FAQs
I am currently enrolled in autopay and need to update my credit/debit card information. How do I do so?

1.) Log in to your account

2.) Navigate to the Utility Billing home page

3.) On the right hand side of the screen, select "Manage auto pay"

4.) Select the three dots next to your current payment method

5.) Input your new card information into the corresponding fields and select update

How is my Water Bill Calculated?

Our utility billing is structured in two components: base charges for services and water consumption (if applicable).

1.) Base Charges: These are fixed charges for water and/or sewer services and are billed from the 15th of each month to the 15th of the following month. 

2.) Water Consumption: This is variable and depends on your actual water usage throughout roughly each calendar month. Water meters are read sometime during the last week of the month. Accordingly, your water consumption is billed based on usage during the calendar month prior to your bill date.

For Example: bill date = 3/15, service dates = 2/15-3/15, water consumption read dates= 1/29-2/25

Rates:

Residential Flat Rate Charges: 

3/4" Water Monthly Flat Rate: $21.34

Sewer Monthly Flat Rate: $59.00

Combined Monthly 3/4" Water & Sewer Flat Rate Total: $80.34

*Rates vary based on meter size. For commerical or multi-family properties, please call City Hall at 541-447-5627 to confirm services and associated charges.  

Water Consumption Charges:

*1 Unit = 748 Gallons

Tier I: 1-25 Units $2.39/Unit

Tier II: 26-37 Units $2.62/Unit

Tier III: 38+ Units $2.98/Unit

What do I enter into the "Last Payment Amount" field if I have never made a payment?

If you have never made a payment on your account, enter 0.00.
